Grand Master D.J. Kim Blue Dragon Tae Kwon Do has won the respect of all those who have studied under him and definitely has developed the necessary skills to become successful in life.

Grand Master D.J. Kim is internationally known for his martial arts instructional videotapes, “Combat Art,” which is distributed worldwide. The techniques described in the films contain material that is unique to the martial arts. It is the product of years of extensive research and planning attributed to the art of Tae Kwon Do. The exercises exhibited in the videos (“Combat Art – Volume 1: Survivor Training, and Volume II: The Unarmed Defender”) represent actual training procedures used by Grand Master D.J. Kim. Nevertheless, road to movie stardom did not occur as a result oh his instructional videotapes. Master Kim's first acting role occurred after some persuasion from is good friend, Grandmaster Ki Yung Choi. Master Choi asked Grandmaster Kim to co-star with him and appear along side Master Sang Kim of Texas movie "Drawn to Kill" (See the October 1996 issue of Tae Kwon Do Times for more details about that movie) His charismatic screen presence and the recognition of his martial arts skill helped Master Kim earn the role in the action-packed thriller "The Ultimate Master" aka " Secret War" Prouced by David Kim of Glory Productions Inc. The film also includes associated producer Gine Lui, who was working on Jackie Chan's "Police Story 5" production consultant Derek Wan, cinematographer of Fist of Legend, set for re;ease in the US through Quentin Tarantino's "Rolling Thunder" division of Miramax Films and Patrick Lung Kong, an award-winning and renowned Hong Kong director.
